Muffy was a snugzi that had been the stuff of legends since time immemorial. His appearance-white, almost luminous fur, flowing blue hair, azure sheets that seemed to always move to the rhythm of the wind, even in complete silence. He was of a lineage of mages connected to the moon, the stars, and the mysteries of the night. Muffy was the sole keeper of an ancient art, dream magic, which allowed his to penetrate the dreams of other snugzi and mend their souls, changing their fates.

Muffy lived on a distant hill, shrouded in an eternal haze that made the world seem almost unreal. Around him was home, a huge ancient oak tree whose roots went deep into the ground and whose branches reached to the stars. It served as a temple, a fortress, and a dream workshop, where Muffy worked tirelessly to keep watch over the world.

One night, when the moon was full, Muffy sensed that something was different. The quiet rustling of the wind suddenly became strange, and the light of the stars, which had always seemed so constant, began to dim. It was a sign that something had happened in the world of Eternia that had upset the balance of dreams.

Muffy closed his eyes and directed thoughts into space, feeling the familiar pulse of the night sky. He saw stars flaring up, each like a separate flame, each like a snugzi dream. But one of them began to fade. It was a symbol of someone sinking into darkness, into a nightmare from which there was no escape. Muffy realized he had to intervene.

He sank down onto the soft flower buds under the tree, closing his eyes. His consciousness slowly sank into darkness. The dream world opened before him as it always did - mysterious, changing and alive. It was an endless ocean of images, sounds and sensations. Muffy had moved easily among dreams, knowing all their secret paths.

But now he was heading for the fading star, the source of the problem. His target was a young yellow snugzi who had been plagued by nightmares since childhood. Each year his dreams grew darker and darker, robbing him of his energy and will to live. Muffy knew his soul was threatened - the forces of darkness known as the Dusky ones fed on his fears and anxieties, turning his dreams into an endless maze of terror.

When he found the little one's dream, it was covered in darkness. A thick fog reigned within, so dense that even the moonlight could hardly penetrate it. Muffy stepped cautiously into this world. His soft paws touched the ground, but every step was inaudible. He felt dark energies reaching out to him, trying to take over consciousness, but Muffy was too strong for that. He easily shoved the shadows aside as he continued to advance.

Soon he found the yellow blanket. Pudding was sitting on the edge of the precipice, looking down into the bottomless darkness. His eyes were full of fear and weariness, and shadows swirled around his figure, whispering to him false promises of rescue. Muffy knew that he had long ago lost faith in anyone helping him.

- Wait, - Muffy said quietly, his voice like the slight rustle of starlight.

The young man slowly turned around, Pudding's eyes widened in surprise. It seemed to him that this was another nightmare, that a new creature had come to torment his mind. But Muffy's gaze was full of peace and tenderness. His fur glowed softly in the night, and hair moved as if under water. He seemed the living embodiment of sleep.

- You're not alone, - Muffy said softly, coming closer. - I'm here to help you.

Snugzi closed his eyes as if he wanted to banish the vision, but his tired heart wanted to believe moon snugzi for some reason.

- I've never been at peace in my sleep,- Pudding whispered. - Every time I fall asleep, the shadows take me away. I can't fight them anymore.

Muffy cautiously moved closer and touched his arm. The touch was light, almost weightless, but in that moment Pudding felt heat and light pass through his body, filling him with new strength.

- These shadows are not part of you, - Muffy said. - They feed on your fears, but they cannot take your soul unless you give it to them.

Mage stretched out his hand, and the starlight that had always been with him shone brighter. The shadows began to retreat, hissing and vaporizing into the air. But Muffy knew it was only temporary relief. To save young man permanently, he had to fix the terrible dream.

- You must face what you fear most,- Muffy said, looking into yellow plush eyes. - And only then can you be free.

Pudding shuddered. He knew what mage was talking about. There was one figure at the center of his nightmares that had haunted him since he was a child - it was the snugzi he believed had betrayed him, shattering childhood belief in safety and love.

Muffy waved his hand and a new dream began to unfold before them. They were now standing in an old house - childhood home. The day his sister had left and never returned. In the corner stood the dark figure that always lurked in his dreams. But this time she didn't look so scary. Muffy was close by, his light dispelling fears.

- It's only a memory,- Muffy whispered. - It no longer has power over you.

Snugzi closed his eyes and took a step forward, facing his old enemy. But instead of fighting him, he allowed himself to forgive. And with that forgiveness, the darkness vanished, leaving only light and peace.

Muffy smiled. He knew that now Pudding's dreams would be free of darkness. The star that had been fading in the sky shone again, bright and clear.

- Thank you, - the snugzi said softly, looking at him with gratitude.

Muffy only nodded and gently vanished into thin air, heading back to his tree on the hill. Now he knew that the dream world was back in balance, and his work here was over - at least for this night.
