Summer Solstice Event - Annual Event
A celebration of the shifting heavenly bodies, and the recording of our lives.
The Celestial Registry is an event represented by Starchivist, the Guardian of the Starry Sky. The event is characterised by the collection and remapping of the night sky after the shift in heavenly bodies. This remapping- or "registry"- is necessary to ensure the people of Eternia's maps, navigational devices, and other devices which rely on the stars are accurate for the upcoming year.
The celebration is also a time when Snugzi, Pompi and all other many of creatures take time to write and archive their own experiences from their time, and reflect on their goals during the brightest time of the year.
The Event features:
- Nighttime activities such as stargazing, mapping, and camping.
- "Archiving" or "registering" experiences from the past year into scrolls, tablets or other means of writing.
- This might include diary entries, memorials, scrolls, accounts, or anything else that might help your character remember their fond memories.
- The remapping of charts & tools for travel.
- This is particularly important to maritime trade & Snugzi who work near the water.
- The telling of old stories, fables, and memories of long ago. It is common practice to gather 'round the sunset campfire and recount days long gone during the Registry.
