Wizard Family Heirloom

You dig through that guardian-forsaken box for what seems like hours, to no avail. There's sweat running down your brow, your fingers throb from the never ending cycle... but finally, you found it. You gasp in elation as you finally feel your hands land on something, pulling it out with glee.

A... cookie?

"All that... for a COOKIE?!" You exclaim, tears beginning to pool at the corners of your eyes. What kind of trickery is this? Is it some kind of protective spell to keep the real heirlooms under tight lock and key? Or is the cookie magical? Should you take a bite? Your mind races with thoughts, mania overtaking you for a moment.

"I'm going to need that back, you know." Another voice pitches up. It's a woman. "That's my dad's cookie tin, why are you digging through it?"
It's Mizz; one of the Wizard family children. She's staring at you with an unimpressed look. 

"ahh.." You slowly lower your head. You're digging through an old man's cookie tin. What's wrong with you?

"It's okay. Why don't I give you a reward for it? That box is hexed you know. It'll keep opening on itself if you let it." She laughs. "A couple plipz for the trouble, maybe?"

As she laughs, though... You can't help but wonder if there wasn't more to this mystery...

and... moreso... what happens if you were to keep this cookie for yourself?
